Behind This Gold Eagle Casino Guide

One Day in the Battlefords is an independent guide signed by the One Day desk, not by a person and not by the casino. This page explains how it is made, from the facts it checks to the pictures and the paid links.

By the One Day deskChecked October 11, 2026

Who writes the guide

Under the shared name of the One Day desk, the guide is both written and signed. Personal bylines appear on no page, and the desk is not an individual. The guide is not the own site of Gold Eagle Casino and is unconnected to the casino, SIGA or any Saskatchewan agency. No bets are taken and no accounts exist.

How the pictures are made

Every picture in this guide was made by an image model, and none is a photograph. The river valley, the camper on the highway and the lake with a plain wooden dock came from a written description alone and show no real place. The Gold Eagle Casino banquet hall and entrance canopy were generated from real photographs, with the viewpoint moved only a little and new light. So the hall and canopy are real places, but their pictures are generated images. The people who appear in the pictures are invented.

Where the facts come from

The desk checked every fact in the guide on October 11, 2026. Its sources were SIGA, Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan, the Government of Saskatchewan, OpenStreetMap and Gold Eagle Casino's own pages. Every distance here follows a straight line from map point to map point, so any road covering it runs longer.

For the hours before the casino, the guide keeps to the places in the Battlefords that the casino's own Getting Here page names. Their hours, prices and seasons are not printed here, so each place's own page is the check.

Ads and the partner

Only the home page holds advertising, and each paid link there wears the label Ad. Readers find them in three places: the menu button, a strip beneath the first screen, and a box close to the bottom. Each one points to the same company behind a private online casino, which could be replaced and earns this guide a commission. That partner holds no Saskatchewan licence and has no connection with PlayNow.com.
